Default Welp, purchased some new rubber today

Snagged up a set of BFG mud tires today. They are not a normal set though, they are project tires that only off road racers can purchase. The tread pattern is totally different then normal, plus they custom cut them at the track.

The sidewall says they are 35x12.5x17's, but they measure just over 33" (perfect, cause I only have 3.92 gears). I will get them mounted as soon as I can and let ya all know how they perform. My only issue is the sidewall says "off road purpose only", so some tire shops may not want to mount them... not sure.

Anyway, on with some pics...

They are basically the same size tire I have now, just a little wider

They are basically brand spankin new, minus one practice. The tread depth is nice and deep, just the leading edges are rounded off.

If anyone is located up in northern Michigan and looking for a set of these, let me know. The guy I got them from has 5 more tires right now, and he will be getting more after the next race.

just find a way to remove the FOR RACE PURPOSES ONLY off the side of the tire (angle grinder with a wire wheel might work)

My exact thoughts also. I will see if there is an issue first, then go from there.

if you have some blocks jack your truck up and take all the wheels off and take them up there if any questions tell them they are for your mud truck

$400, which isn't too bad considering a new set of BFG mud terrains this size cost $300 a piece. These are not exactly a set of normal BFG mud terrains, but they are still almost brand new.
