Default Just have some parts questions

hey yall i was out messing around with the truck just trying learn more about the dodge and vehicles in general. i took some pics of parts on my truck i didn't know about. in the pics i have the parts circled and some pics have multiple circles each a different color. i broke it down real easy just so i wouldnt get confused and maybe someone esle out there would find this helpful. thanks in advace.

i tried looking at a naked intake but i wasn't figuring out all these different ports, etc. also what is the long metal tube?

this looks like the starter underneath...but what is this comp bc i know where the PCM is. i have a pic of it on the deathflash thread

the first picture the orange is the idle air control the red is the throttle position sensor the dark purple is the fuel rail test port the yellow is the quick disconnect to disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail and the blue is more of you fuel injectors

the second picture the green appear's to be your a/c compressor's connection the yellow is two of your fuel injector's and the blue if your talking about the big vacuum hose its the vacuum for the brake booster

the third pic the red is the abs module and the yellow is the abs motor

Not a bad way to learn, man. And these old trucks are pretty simple.. compared to the newer cars.
And props to Cheat for being so young and knowing it all. Very impressive.

oh wow. im mechanically inclinded but i would not have known things like IAC 3 years ago. By the way, cheat, i beleive we share a birthday. June 6?

I dont know it all, But I know some, Thats why I didn't do the other image, But, Still I tryed to help

Hey, everyone's gotta start somewhere. My bro turns 16 in July and wouldn't have had a clue about a single part in those pictures. Like I said, very impressive. Looks like we got ourselves a future master mechanic right here on the forum.

I have been on this forum for a long *** time. And it took me about 3 years to figure out what a TPS was.

Haynes and chilton's manuals help.
