Will a body lift for 99-01 fit my 97? I can get one cheap.

 

just a heads up it would be more helpful for those that use the search feature if you would use actual words for the title of your thread so someone can find it later when trying to learn about body lifts...(youll also get more responses) You've been here longer than me I 'm surprised you have seen moderators tell others the same thing?
BTW I know this just came up in another recent thread but I cant remember the answer for sure.. I thought there was only like one different bumper mount maybe? or that might be between the sport and non sport.

First, is the body lift kit from performance accessories?

For the most part AD is right. Biggest difference is with the front bumper bracket (sport or non-sport). Couple other things, and you could contact PA directly (i did), to find out other differences. Example, I picked up a 99-01 non-sport except 2000. lol Only different thing that happened for the automatic transmission is the bracket mount. Had to order that plate thru 4wheeelparts (called them). This was do to email conversations and phone calls to PA.

I can give you my contact, assuming its PA. I'd pretty much say get the kit and for any differences, just obtain them as-needed. I would suspect you need to be aware of manual vs a/t, and bumper type. Lastly, with an older kit you may have more fabrication steps to do. Another tip is to go to their website, find the kit(s) and download the instructions and compare.
