My wife and I talked with a dealership tonight. We are looking at the 2006 Montana EXT fwd, no dvd player. Here's where we stand right now. The price is $11,995 w/ all new tires, tranny flush, complete detail, and a tune-up. They're also going to pay-off the $10,600 we owe on our mitsubishi monteiro. I'm gonna try and push them down another $500 tomorrow and seal the deal. My questions for you all is whether or not this sounds like a fair deal for me, and whether or not I should ask him to throw in anything else. Watcha guys think?

if not too bad...he may whine about it though, hes a whiner most of the time! I think it has to do with the deep rosey red gay color! Him and Wyatt share the same characteristics, what a coiekedink
Hey at least my truck doesn't take it in the ***.

I think it's a pretty decent deal...I just quick checked and low mileage Montana's were going for $2-3,000 more than that, equipped roughly the same. If you knock another $500 off, I think it's a pretty good deal. Plus, the tires themselves are probably worth $400-500 dollars...

How many miles?

It's got 38,000 miles so the warranty just ran out. Also, according to cars.com and edmunds.com ALL 2006 Pontiac Montanas came standard with a dvd player...but ours doesn't have one...wtf. Anyone know whats up with that?

If it's a flip down DVD, you wouldn't want it anyway. My trailblazer had one and you couldn't see out the rear view mirror when it was open. The ones that hand on headrest is better because their also potable. Just my 2 cents...

Yea well the bastards backed out today. They decided it was too good a deal and instead of paying off the 10,600 they'd give us 5k for it. I just told them no way. We left.
