THE OFFICIAL 3rd Gen Dakota OT Thread
Well guys, I have to replace my windshield wipers finally... they are the stockers and they have about 16k miles of wiping under their belts
Hey 'bolt, try keeping Rain-x on the windshield and using their washer fluid as well. Between the fact that it keeps you from needing the wipers as much and that they provide more of a lubricated surface on the windshield, you wipers will last much longer.
Since starting this maybe 10 years ago, I'll easily get 30k + out of a set of wipers. Plus the safety factory I get with the Rain-x is worth it alone. Some of these Fl. summertime storms, you'd have NO chance of seeing anything a foot in front of you without it...

yea, the ice can do that to them. I like the rain-x for the washer and after cleaning, the wipers I really like are called silblade. they are made in my area (no cheaper here though
) last a long time, made of silicon and work great.

i use this stuff called aquapel.
I get it from the same distributor I get my tint from. The stuff is great. I used to use rain-x, but Aquapel is cheaper for me, and it works just as good. It seems to stand up to wipers better than Rain-x used to. (they might have changed the formula by know though.) I havent used rain-x in a couple years.
