Having been a Ford Technician for way to many years, and before that a Chevy Tech, Engine codes elude me for the Dodge products.

My Dak's 8th VIN number is N. It says on my Original build sheet that it is a Magnum 4.7. Is this the HO 4.7? Is there a way to find out?

You just answered your own question.

If your 8th position is N, then you do not have the high output engine. If that 8th position was a J, then it would be the high output V8.
