On this forum, there is no 4th gen. Some consider it a generation, along with the 02-04 (I think) as 3rd gen, and 05-07 as 4th gen. Its different depending on what internet site youre on.

Yeah I don't get the different perceived generations for the Dakota Platform.

All information I have found says that '05+ 3rd gen.

there are NO other forums for me. have a hard enough time keeping up with this one. I tried another forum but all they did was bash me for my collegiate affiliation (my front plate).

Your front plate is fine .... but some guys on here (me) may have problems with big words like that .... Thanks for the clarification though right after collegiate affiliation. Soon we will have to start putting foot notes at the bottoms of our posts.

Ya know... with 3 piece of electric tape, you can easily convert your "VT" plate into a "WF" ....just sayin....
