Received shipping update this evening, lights will be delivered Monday 06/20/11 before end of day. Not too shabby save $100 by waiting 6-8-weeks and they end up sending in 10 days. Go figure.

A few people have has issues with these grilles paint peeling, Mine was fine for almost 6 months but then it peels, so I installed the stock chrome one again.

i just bought one of the bently style grills (chrome through the black one is discontinued), i went to auto zone and bought plastid adhesion promoter and self etching primer, and went to wallymart and bought the rustolium sprayon truck bed liner, gonna go thick with layer after layer of each step. the bed liner shouldnt chip like paint and should give it a pretty good look. ill post pics once finished if it ever stops raining, its too humid to paint and get proper drying.

I thought about painting mine when it chipped, But didnt bother since It would have been to much work to get a even coat over all of it. Just went stock and plan to paint it at some point.

Did like the look of it tho.

Default bently grill bedliner coating

heres where i am so far on the chrome grille turned bedliner

step 1 just involved wet sanding with a sponge like sanding block, medfine grit, gets into the tight corners easily, then i blasted the hell outa it with adhesion promoter since it is plastic and not metal and spray paint doesnt like staying to plastic without it.
