But if your going to go this route v.s. a R/T hood, then gloss it has to be or your truck starts looking like something a delusional southern hemispere inhabitant field worker would drive. Just saying.
Welcome to DF! I can't tell you enough how happy we are to welcome your to this fine thread for 3G dakotas: where our members strive to help one another in hard times and go above and beyond for the relay of excellent communication, sprinkled with sunshine stuffed comments that blind you with pure awesomeness!

Well this is a perfect example of how to make friends. As I agree with you 100% with the anti-stick on acc, I must say that you sir, should consider the verbage of your comments, if you are not aiming to offend someone. Some people might find it slightly offensive and become discouraged at you, and quite possibly hold a grudge...especially as a brand new member. Some of us might have grown up in the south, worked in fields, have a farmer's tan, a southern draw, and quite possibly been unemployed at some point...only surviving by the grace of God. This could immediatly start an undesirable barrier between members, admins, etc that could very-well give them a slightly upset stomach, as they fester over something so small. Please don't feel that I am bashing your judgement, character, or integrity in any way, shape, or form.

Jkeaton, yes, you hillbilly, it was a direct insult to you. Just kidding, you're my boy Blue!!

CheeseB,

I do agree with the "NO stick on stuff", but for different reasons. In CO, we see an abundance of adverse weather conditions that tend to destroy stick on stuff. I like what Hammer did. You should do that too.

I thought mine came out rather well. The only thing I still need to do is go get a nice piece of molding to go around the hole in the hood so it looks "factory" with the hood open. One of those back-burner things...

Have you got pic's of the underside of the hood and the CIA?
I'm thinking of a scoop and a bit of under hood duct to deliver a bit more fresh air to my huge new K&N.
I did open up the inner fender so some of the filter does stick out through it but with the new exhaust manifold and larger turbo, heat is an issue.

I drilled a 1/4" hole under mine so it was functional.
