Default Wired for heated mirrors?

I was wanting to paint my door handles and side mirrors but got to thinking that maybe I should upgrade my power mirrors to power heated mirrors before I paint. I have a rear window defroster and the button for it below the radio that came stock. Is that button wired for the mirrors too? even though I only got power mirrors stock?

I remember older threads that said the wiring was not in place. IIRC.

When I searched for it, I read that the wiring 'should' have been run to both mirrors and rear glass but I never really got a definite answer. I was hoping someone has actually done it and would chime in.... fingers crossed...
