The Time has come
Well guys it has been a long battle, but I am out
Ha well out of Illinois that is... and you guys thought it was about the truck.
I have given my two week notice and will be moving to Indianapolis to start the next chapter in my life next week.
Illinois politics, taxes, and gun laws have pissed me off to no end. Also I have really reached my potential with my current company. Nothing to advance to, no raise to be had.
I will be living in the northern suburbs of Indianapolis.
Truck has been fixed, and the rust on the bed will be taken care of after the winter by my step brothers body shop.
This has not been a easy decision to leave my life behind in order to advance myself but when you live paycheck to paycheck it gets old. My boss is screwed since I pretty much ran the company for him. I would have not accepted a raise unless it was a contract salary of $100,000 /yr.
Since my offer was not accepted I made the decision to leave him high and dry.
Wish me luck!

I totally agree... it is time for me to move on. I have an amazing resume and lots to bring to any company that want to make money.
Indiana is one of the few states that still has money in its bank account and has not gone into debt. The infrastructer is in good shape and almost every large company that cannot get a tax break from the Illinois government has moved to Indiana.
50% of my decision was I just wanted out of Illinois. and 150% was I cannot stand the crappy management at my current job. oh wait they fired all the management years ago and told everyone they are all equal and not to pass on mistakes to the next person.
