Default Good bye Dakota's Hello Ram!

Well i whacked a deer. When i mean whacked, i mean 60 MPH, no brakes, no nothing just BAM! Thank god for 50$ deductible. So after doing alot of research i decided to trade my truck in for something bigger. I do alot of towing and hauling and my Dakota just couldn't cut it in the hill with 3000 LBs +. So i bought a 2006 Ram 1500, lifted, tuned, the whole 9 yards. This truck is Mint, zebart undercoat with oil sprays 3 times a year, no leaks around the engine, tranny or any lines. 3.93 rear ratio and a 5.7 hemi under the hood. Now i just need a 8" drop hitch and im all set. Heres the recent pics of my dakota
Roughly 2,000 lbs of fresh cut hemlock flitching.

Another load of wood

DEER!

New Rig

Yes, my dog goes everywhere with me.

That is one sweet Ram. I'm not a fan of that generation because of those big a$$ headlights that look like they take up half the fender, but that one looks sweet!

Well, at least you have a red truck now. Best of luck with it, it's a good looking truck.

Wow, sorry to hear about the dakota. Towing will be much easier with the Hemi and chassis of the Ram. The new rig looks great! I definately dig the red and black. Don't become a ghost, drop in to the 3g section once in awhile!
