Did you need any special tools for the fender flare install? or do they just bolt on to the existing screws inside the wheel well

They come with rivets, but you could use screws.
The front fenders have all of the holes already in place, right now you'll see plastic rivets in place right now on your truck.
Just pop them out, picture below is just an example of the plastic rivets.

The rear fenders have no holes, so you have to clamp the flare in place with a few clamps, and then you have to drill out the holes in your rear fenders. Be sure to have someone holding the flare in as much as possible when clamping the down to keep them flush. It's also a good idea to hold them firmly in place when installing the rivets or screws.

You need a rivet gun, fresh drill bits for metal, and clamps. Nothing else really special needed.
Below are the installation instructions, but add taking the wheels off to the instructions.

Installation instructions.

Cool thanks! There isn't like a 3M sticky pad along the flare that sticks it to the truck as well?

No, but there is a spot that looks like you could use tape on each flare.
We had tape on hand but found it wasn't needed.

Being your truck is an 08, you may have the rear fenders pre-drilled already.

The truck looks great, it's nice to see what a huge change rims, fender flares and bit of paint can do.
How did you end up painting the grille, or did you buy a new grille?
The reason I ask is that the plastidip on mine is pealing again and I like the look, so I just wanted something more permanent.

Bought a new one, I didn't want to worry about chips at all.

Makes sense, I'll just try some different paints and if it doesn't work out that's probably the route that I'll go.
