Today I picked up another addition to my "dodge family", it's a 2011 Ram 1500 Big Horn, and I must say, I'm very impressed with it so far (less than 24 hrs, but who's counting?). I can certainly feel the snap of the hemi when I step on the loud pedal, and it has a very smooth and comfortable ride. I got this truck because I needed some towing muscle now that I've sold my place and need to move all my toys out of my garage and shop, and I figure that with this, and a tandem axle utility trailer, I should be able to do that with a lot less struggle. So now that I've run out of parking space in my driveway, and will need to make more for the upcoming trailer, I need to make some adjustments. One of my adjustments is to give the Dakota to my son, the next will be to "dolly" my YJ close to where I plan to move & this will give me the room for the trailer, Ram, and my wife's car. At this point, under normal circumstances, I would probably sign off from the Dakota Gen 3 forum and move to the appropriate Ram forum, but since I'll still remain as the family "mechanic" of choice and will need to keep up with what's happening with dakotas, you guys are stuck with me too.
