Just a comment:

There's been a lot of opposition to platinum spark plugs. I installed Champion Double Platinum spark plugs gapped at 0.040" and let me tell ya, my truck runs like a champ (no pun intended).

Just thought I'd share my experience. Not sure why all the hate. Though, I understand that no 2 trucks are the same...

 

I tried those in my truck and it ran like crap. Wouldn't hold idle, felt sluggish. Went back to copper and all the problems went away. Maybe some engines handle them better.
