So I'm pretty much in the middle of nowhere with a bent front drive shaft. I was thinking about just pulling it off and heading home like I've done before with a 4wd, but with an AWD wouldn't just try to send all the power to the missing shaft and nothing to the rear?

 

You can put in in '4 lock high' and it will give power to the rear wheels.
