had to to get another truck, since my son well be driving soon. so i just got a 05 dakota slt , with a 4.7, 6spd tranny, 4x4.

so i still get to keep my plans of swapping the 4.7 with a 5.7 hemi. with less work. (hopefully) the engine i have is the CAN bus system, same as the 05 dak.

thought i would say hi, instead of just lurking around.

thank you. it depends on who you talk to about want or necessity. i just figured that it would be cheaper than buying a $50.000 new truck. and i would have what i want. plus i like the size of the dakota over the full size ram. i've had a few of the 2nd gen dakotas and loved them.
