Hi to all,

Friend of mine has Dodge Dakota 2011 and the right side (passenger) mirror is busted. He asked me to help him get a new one but rockauto.com does not carry anything for 2011. It is not even listed at all.

I wonder if I can use the equivalent part from the 2010 models (or even earlier) or I am stuck with the dealers here (cost will be over $300 tax included).

Yes, absolutely. The mirrors are the same from 2005-2011.

Rockauto, and pretty much anywhere else, has the 2011 listed as a ram, not as a dodge. That's why you can't find it. But yes, the parts are identical as Dakotaff said. I did the 6x9 mirrors on mine before I traded it in and loved them so much better then the 5x7 mirrors that it came with. Definitely a worthy upgrade. I bought mine on e-bay for peanuts compared to rockauto.

 

2005 until the end of the line are all the same mirrors.
