Seats pretty worn, replacement options?
2008 Quad cab with drivers side power seat and 240,000 miles of ***-time. My seat is pretty worn, and my phone holsters have poked holes in the seat bolsters, so I need to replace both the covers and the foams. In a perfect world, I would just buy a new set of OEM cover and the back and bottom foam. So far everything I have found has either been out of stock or (ebay) utter trash. I can get aftermarket covers easy enough from places like Wet Okele but that doesen't help me with the foam. I do have an upholstery place in my town, but the guy is like 900 years old and isn't interested in working on vehicles.
Some sites list the cross reference to full size RAM seat foams and covers, and we all know how much Dodge loved to re-use parts, but now the links I saved are dead, so I am not even sure about that anymore. Before I order any I was hoping someone on here had been down this road before and could provide some guidance.

I don't have the miles that you have, but the driver's seat on mine was already getting a little crushed and not as comfortable. So, I've done two things.
1) remove the cushion and give it a steam bath using a clothing steamer (or steam iron). Assuming the foam isn't all torn up, this will restore some of its original shape and size.
2) Place some HD foam 1", or more, depending on preference. I used the green stuff from Joann. But, anything like it would work.
As far as the seat covers go, there are a lot of quality leather options on the internet. There are probably some good cloth ones, too. Cost might be a challenge. Start with carid.com

My foam is pretty tore up, so I bit the bullet and ponied up for some NOS Factory replacement foam from Ebay. Now I am trying to figure out where I can get replacement OEM seatcovers (or at least the Drivers side) without buying the whole seat...
OEM meaning cloth or leather?
I currently have cloth, so if I can find a gray left side cloth set, I can replace just it. If I can only find leather, I will likely want to replace both.
My problem is all I seem to be able to find is seat covers, designed to go OVER the factory seat cover, not the actual seat and back covers themselves. I've always thought aftermarket covers were cheezy..

...and that is my problem. Since I want to replace the actual seats, not just sloppily cover them up with another cover, I either need to match my existing seats (seemingly difficult) or find a full set that matches (like in Leather...)
I have found a site (on my phone or I would link it) that seems to cross-reference dodge seats, and lists almost every 2008+ dodge seat cover as being compatible from mini vans to 2500 rams. That information seems to disagree with other places, but then there are places that list different seat cover part numbers based on what ENGINE I have, and that seems wrong, too..

Seat covers are independent of engine. They depend on the vehicle's trim level and color - TRX, Laramie, Big Horn, etc. I've found three colors: DD (grey), JJ (khaki), and black (usually from the TRX). Might be others, but I've focused on what matches my truck, which is the khaki (JJ).
I am trying to find a driver seat cushion replacement for a 2000 Dodge Dakota and all I can find are for Dodge Rams. Are they the same seat cushion? If not, where can I find a driver seat cushion for a 2000 Dodge Dakota? Any help is greatly appreciated.
To resurrect my own thread, RAM seats/seat parts are NOT compatible with (my) dakota. Ram Seats are a couple inches longer front to back than dakota seats.
That said, I am currently rocking all Ram seat and cushion parts on my driver side. and its only lopsided when you look at it.
