Default 2007 Dakota towing capacity

I've found several sites that purport to list the towing capacity for my 2007 Dakota SLT Quad Cab 4WD, 4.7L V8 FFV, 3.55 axle ratio, 5-sp automatic. every site seems to list a different rating, from 3800lb to 7000+ lb. is there a reliable site for finding out the actual tow capacity?
thanks
Ken

I posted all of the 2007 Dakota towing capacities in post #3 of This Thread. Your numbers will be in the last section.

That Information is straight from Dodge, and correct. Tow package should be a must for you to consider the max numbers.

Trailer Tow Group — Includes Class IV receiver, 7- and 4-pin wiring, 750-amp battery, heavy-duty engine cooling,
auxiliary transmission cooler (automatic transmission), power steering cooler, and 6”x9” power, heated mirrors (SLT/Laramie)
