Default Dash Break Light Stays on After Master Cylinder and Booster Replaced

I recently replaced my break master cylinder and booster on my ‘11 Ram Dakota. Master was bench bleed, wheels bleed also, however, in-dash brake light wont go off. Reservoir is full and e-brake not engaged. My neighbor, a retired mechanic, used his code reader to pressurize abs system as called for. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Is the sensor on the MC plugged in? Did a new sensor come with the MC or did you bring the old one from the old MC?

Seems like I read before that this is an issue with aftermarket master cylinders. Not sure if theres any fix other than putting an original back in.
