Just curious if the trx4 actually gets an extra inch in ride height. I'm wondering if both front and rear are higher. I measured mine today and the bottom lip of fenders on vertical center of the axel is :
Front 33 5/8"
Rear 35 3/4"
tires are the bfg at 265/70 16 with 35 psi

Can we get a few trx4 and 4x4 guys to measureto compare actual heights.

 

Measure from where???

 

measure from the ground to the bottom of the fender on a verticle line running through the center of your wheel hubs. make sure the fronts are straight.

 

My parts guy and I measured 2 club cabs side by side, one was an SLT and one was a TRX4 both 4X4's. He measured the front spring seats and the TRX4 was 7/8" taller, thus the advertised 1" extra ride height.

I cant I relized i have P245/70/R16

 

New to this forum. Have 05 Dak SLT 4X4 CC 4.7L V8 5SPD AUTO. I measured my truck. I have 265/70R16 goodyear wranglers and I got 34" in front and 35-5/8" in the rear. Measured at a flat home depot parking lot. I have been looking for ideas for lifting the truck because it needs it. I contacted BDS Suspensions and they have no plans to make a lift kit for 05 and up Dakotas.

 

so it looks like the 4x4 may be the same as the trx4, based on pro4x4's measure they are the same. Anyone else have a chance to measure? makes me wonder if I have the correct springs...lol
