Default Loose rear end

I noticed it a few weeks back while on a road trip to Canada....There were some highways up there that because of the heavy tractor trailer use, the highways grew almost like ruts in the road....Where the weight of the trucks wore down their path on the non-passing lane. Anyways, sometime when changing lanes I felt my truck sort of sway--Like the tires having issues coming out of those ruts. But it made the truck swerve...More than a couple of time it happened. And a couple of times since being back home too. Feels like it came from the rear. Air pressure seems fine, although I haven't used my gauge in a while. What is back there on a solid rear axle that might loosen up? Are there wheel bearings that could cause this? The axle or shafts? Or just a phenonom of the solid rear axle. (I am not talking about the rear end skipping out when hitting a bump on a turn.) Maybe I should get rid of these awful Eagle LS's....

how many miles are on your eagles? at around 15k-18k on my Eagles the performance on them degraded A LOT. How fast were u going when changing lanes in these ruts or so? I don't know but I might think that changing them at certain speeds may cause the truck to just shift one way or another, maybe i'm not fully understanding your question..hmmm

Yes, the rear moving side to side, but relatively gently. I was probably doing 75mph at the time.Even my passenger was like, "what was that?" I have 15-16K on my Eagles now, Bruiser. My other thought is that the sidewalls on these tires are weakening---causing a flex that is felt in that situation.....
