How big is the gen 3 gas tank size? Also does the 4.7 still require six quarts of oil? These are just merely curiosity questions.

 

I believe that all Gen 3's are 18 gallon Tanks, I know my tank is 18...it should be in the manual along with the requirements for the oil.

 

Assuming both the 3.7 and 4.7 have the same size tank, it's 22gal.

That's what the truck takes and it also sounds like a fun night at the bar.

 

Since I am a canuck, I can tell you up here, our tanks are 83 litres. That works out to about 21.92 Gallons (Wet) If you were to use the dry measurement, it would work out to 18.84 Gallons. Not sure which measurment is used in the states. I would assume Wet, but I have seen both numbers posted here.
