ABS & Brake Light

Default ABS & Brake Light

Hello I am new I have a 2006 QC 4X4 and yestrerday hit a nice dip no wheels off the ground stuff. And my ABS and Brake light came on and stayed on untill I turned the truck off and restarted. And it happened again on a small bump? Any Ideas 12,000 miles 2 1/2 exhaust thats all forks.

12,000 miles you're still under warranty aren't you? I'd take it in and let the dealer handle it.

Yeah, but, its prolly just a bad sensor, driving my car off the dealer (used) I went 10 miles hit a small bump and my check engine light came on, turned out to be a bad crankshaft sensor. Best bet is to take it into the dealer since its still under warrenty.

Well guys what it turned out to be was a sensor that was located on the rear. What happened is tha 4 months ago when I got the exhaust done it was laying on a bolt on the rear and as time went on 4 months of bouncing etc the exhaust molded itself around the bolt and crushed the wires to a sensor. Of course the dealer wanted 165.00 to repare it because after market exhaust. So I took it back to exhaust place and cut out the exhaust and reinstallled it and repalced the wiring fo rth senser.
