I was told the 180 tstat makes your engine run cooler, in general engines put out more power when they run cooler. Also a K&N or AirRaid intake would allow more air, and that air would also be cooler. Jet Stage 2, I've heard it helps some, not as much as some bigger name brands, but those bigger name brands refuse to acknowledge us and make chips, so we went with Jet S2.

I'd say now you have the exhaust, go with an intake system, I have a K&N, FIPK Kit I believe with the 63 series filter.

The FIPK kit is the 63 series. It promises 9 hp at the crank. The JET stage 2 promises 22HP w/ the tstat I believe. If these numbers are accurate ( I assume they are) then you could see around 31hp more at the crank. Not sure what it would be at the wheels due to the drivetrain robbing some power. If you want to get more power than that check out:

They have cams, superchargers, nitrous, etc..

if money is tight then go with the 63 series k/n this will get the air the motor is looking for. also the 180 stat is fairly cheap. next on the list would be the throttle body. by far another great mod for the truck. last get the chip. with the way gas prices are you will need to run 93 or better. up my way the 93 is at 3.30 a gallon.

Thansk guys for all the help. I feel what I am going to do is the ait intake, 180 stat and jet 2 chip now. Then down the road the throttle body. Again thanks for all the help I wish I found this place before. Now I am just looking for the cheapest place to get the items any ideas?
