I just want to double check something... Dont we cut OUR hoods, and just set up the shaker on our intake? it seems pricey to me, you arnt even getting a full hood for over 600 bucks...
I was looking into the shaker hood for my dakota. I contacted Keystone restyling to find out if my airaid intake would work with the hood. They said it would and I also asked them how the ram air function worked because looking at the pictures it didn't look like an effective ram air setup. The guy explained the setup and even he said its not the most efficent way for a ram air setup to work. So that kind of turned me off to the shaker hood. Why spend that kind of money for a ram air setup if it don't work very well.
