Hey Just checkin...how do you reset the ECU... my Check engine light came on after I installed my CAI and I forgot to hook the air sensor back up so I'm thinking that was the prob... anyways now that I fixed it don't I have to reset it or something so the light goes away?

 

Disconnect the battery for 10-20 minutes or so.

 

It will go away with it hooked up correctly. You'll have to drive around for a little while. If you want to reset the ECU you can just unhook your battery for 20 minutes and you'll be good. You can also go to somewhere like Autozone and they will pull the code and erase it for you. Then you don't have to reset all of your presets on the radio.

 

Yeah thanks guys I reset my ECU and it all works fine now, it didn't reset my radio presets... but it did reset the time.
