I think you'd be fine, you'd be surprised as to how little rocks actually hit the front of a vehicle.... mainly just bugs is all I'd say you REALLY have to worry about.

IDK I'm kinda with Night Runner...but if he's actually your friend ask him and see what he thinks about how durable it is.

Oh on a side note, I know what you mean about credit cards...but I got one a couple months ago...its a student credit card...so I actually got approved for it...but the reason I got it is because I'm trying to build my credit for the future...like in 5 years I hope to be buying a house, etc... but I pay it off every month so I don't get charged interest...plus I only use it for my gas and any groceries I buy because I get a whole 1% back on all gas and groceries I buy with it...so I'm saving money and building credit...but it takes a little more work than just paying for stuff outright.

night runner there is no cutting what so ever to put in the speed griil . you just unbolt your grill shell and unclip the factory grill insert and install the speed grill . AND it comes with a hood release relocation cable and handle . so you could put the factory grill back in your truck with no harm to it.hope this helps ?

ya i understand that...my speed grill in my ram "cliped" in....with billet grills, they make both, bolt overs and ones that actually replace your girll and some require minor fabrication...how is your release fabricated?

it is a cable and a handle that runs to the bottom of the grill. when you pop the hood you just reach between the top of the bumper and grill shell and pull down on the handle . it's a pretty nice deal. i had a stainless expanded metal grill in my 2002 dakota we fabbed at our shop and used a rod to reach in and push the handle to open the hood it was very reneck.
