Nice lookin' truck! What made you do the duel out exhaust like that instead of a single pipe with a duel tip? Don't get me wrong, I think it looks sweet but I was just wondering if there was a reason behind it or if it was mainly for the looks.

ok truth is casper kid....i bought it as a kit for dual out the rear...many of you have heard this story. but my father in law had the idea to scrap that and bend two pipes out the side. we had to use two pipes and not a dual tip cuz it was single in dual out flowmaster...from the dual kit...so we worked with what we had and welded a NICE result...still running strong a year later.
NOW....my jet chip is a burning a hole in my drawer...i just need to install it...but im nervous.

I think it looks good! I was just wondering if there was a reason behind it other than looks. I would have done the same thing and just used what I already had. I thought you did it from scratch and that's why I asked about it.Good choice and I like how the black exhaust looks on the truck.

You should just install the chip for a tank of gas and see if you like it. Nothing will go wrong and you are only going to spend a few extra dollars on gas for that tank. If you like it then you will be happy that you tried it. If you don't like it then just take it off and I'm sure someone on here would buy it fromyou.

I thought that it was an instant gain from it and then after a little bit the computer might learn it and adjust the A/F ratio and timing so that you are back to the same power you had before. Then you just have to reset the computer and you're good to go.
