I would not trust a metal mesh filter no how no way. Better oil pressure sure, but it's got to be letting a lot of contaminants (metal particles, etc.) through. I would not buy it. Anyone who uses this thing is risking major engine damage. I'll stick with my K&N filters.

I use wix filters, my turbo motor just seems to like them better. the fram ones make the valves rattle when its started but it dont do it with the wix. people told me that it was because of a drainback valve that fram didnt use. idk I just know my motor dont like them.

Wix is a brand. It's considered a top quality oil filter compared to others.

I bought my first vehicle in 1989 and have had 4 trucks since. All of them had fram oil filters and I never had any problems with the filters.

Yeah, if you change your oil every 3,000 miles then any oil filter should do the trick. I've never had any problems with any Fram that I've used.

Actually, they have run the Truck series and Busch series hereat PPIR (Pikes Peak International Raceway). The ISC boughtthe track in 2005 and also shut it down in 2005, then they closed it down and moved the races to another location. Yes there are talks about building another track in Colorado but I have a hard time seeing it happen. I don't think the majority of people here would want a track. There aren'tvery many true fans here that would want a track.
