how did you go through the fire wall? looks like the top left has a few wires running through a silicon plug. my first glance looks like it may be a possibility. but looks like that just goes into a chamber under the wipers...not directly into the dash. Does any one know for sure if goes into the dash up there? It doesn't look like enough wires to be the main wire bundle. just figured go through a hole instead of making my own.
there are a couple of places you can go if you look under your dash by the petals. i found it easier to start in the cab and try to work my way out to the engine instead of the other way around. I ended up putting in a new hole in the firewall because of the power wire for my amp.

I ran into the same problem with a plug and play adapter. This will work. I just did it. It wasn't that much of a pain in the tail to do either.

with that harness do you still have to run a wire to the grey/pink wire or to the fuse panel? and how does that dimmer feature work, is there a certin wire that you have to land to? and if so what wire is it. i got the harness when i bought my radio but i didnt use it because the radio never shut off so i just used the cheap harness that works just fine.
