Getting new wheels... need sizing help plz!
I mentioned not to longer ago I was going to get some new wheels.
I want them black, and look like a classic truck wheel. I was pointed to the Cragar 8 Black wheels.
i like them alot. I have an 06 dakota ST and im PRETTY sure my steel wheels are 16x7, 5.5 bolt pattern, but i have no clue of the backspacing. Now that I no longer run 245/70s and I now run 265/75s I think that Im supposed to have the base factory ALUMINUM wheel dimensions, which are:
16" factory aluminum wheel offset
16 x 8, 5 & 1/2" backspacing 3 & 1/2" front spacing
At least thats the info I got off this forum.
The cragar wheels I can find to most closely match the stock specs of the aluminum wheels are
16x8, 5" backspace, 5.5" bolt pattern.
Is it ok that there 5" backspaced? (instead of the 5.5" the stockers are) I am a complete wheel newb so any info would be great.
If anyone knows the exact dimensions I need, then please help me out.

Wheel backspacing is basically the distance from where the wheel mounts to the back edge of the wheel, it's related to offset but they are not the same thing. These two sites explain it better than I can:
