Not to get to far off topic, but can someone point me in the right direction for new front and rear bumpers. Is that something the supporting vendors would have or is my best bet hitting a salvage yard and trying to find a set there?

I think we're talking about the one inside the center console--under the lid--the center arm rest.

 

Couldn't survive without it, especially when my son needs power for his DVD player or gameboy. Also works great to charge the phone.

 

It's only the bench seats that don't have them. If you have buckets and a console, you'll have it.

I have the bench and don't have one in the console, just near where the 4x4 switch would be, if I weren't 4x2.

 

Yup I've got one,it comes in handy!

OOOO ok now im understanding...yeah I havent been in a dakota that had the center console and not bench or just nothing there. nifty thrifty
