Wow, sounds like you have the same truck as me... 06 QC 4x2 with the 4.7, TT, and limited slip. Built in July 05, bought in August 06.

AND, I've had the same vibration you've had - I wouldn't call it severe, just annoying at highway speeds. When after you bought it did you notice the vibration and get them to replace the tires? I have only noticed it after a tire rotation, so maybe the rears were doing in all along.

Finally, for the shifting, how many miles were on the truck before and now? Sometimes if someone else puts miles on it they are real slow on it and it will try to shift for comfort. If you want to drive the same truck fast, it will feel real sluggish to shift and shift to early. If you reset the tranny "memory" by leaving the battery unplugged overnight, it will re-learn to your driving style and may be better.

Another addition, well, the dealer obtained new tires and when he went to put them on, found 2 wheels out of round...Now, I'm waiting for the wheels to come in. Hopefully, this will fix the vibrations. As for the shifting, the truck has approximately 5000 miles on it. While at the dealer, they've flashed the computer with some new updates so I'm anxious to try it out. I just wish the the 4.7 has more torque as when I drive my Hemi, well, it's on tap at the throttle and the Durango moves on...traintrackker

I have the vibration every now and again. I took it Meineke to have them inspect the rear rotors since the vibration happens when braking sometimes. The drums were fine, however the emergency brake was still engaged even though it wasnot fully disengaged from inside the cab. Further, he said the emergency brake not working properly along with the fact that ABS in front and Drums in the back do not really work well together, could be the problem. He suggested I take it to the dealer and tell them what thye found and have it fixed under the warranty. So I will do that, and keep you posted.

Another update...and we wonder why folks don't want to buy from the Big 3 anymore....My truck was supposed to be ready on Friday with new wheels and tires. The key word was "supposed" as only 3 of the 4 wheels ordered arrived. According to the dealer, Chrysler saw fit to only ship 3 of the 4 wheels and the dealer couldn't do anything about it. As I told the dealer, if I acted like they have to me at my job, I'd be fired. I just can't understand why folks at the car dealers can't treat their customers better and yes, the consumer should expect better. traintrackker
