RE: Let's blow up Europe!!!
Gas is still under $3.00 (average)here in NJ. We have the best prices in the nation. It was $2.89 two days ago (near my house...down fom my office is $3.15) and it cost me $55.06 to fill up. I have been getting about 280 a tank. That is about 15.5 mpg. Not too bad for about only 40 miles of highway.
As far as blowing up Europe? We may want to re-think that and file a class action suit against big oil (Shell, Exxon-Mobil, etc.). It must really suck to make $9 and $6 billion profit, respectively, and then cry poverty.
But...We actually have it pretty good here in the US(relatively speaking). To fill up in the UK, 87 octane would cost you over $7.40 per gallon. That is the conversion cost from the British Pound (confirmed from a friend who just moved there in April).

You know just ten years ago I was able to buy( some what legaly ..cough... cough) 100Low Lead Av gas for my muscle car(which is heavily leaded) for $1.45 right out of the pump. Now Av gas is around $4.00 and up...that just sucks

The profits the gas companies are making are crazy. Just crazy.
