That doesn't make sense still....

Get us a picture of what you did... preferrably the whole underside of your truck if you can...

i did it again tonight when i had alot of time bc when i did it the first time i didnt drive it just started it and revved it up and it sounded about the same. but tonight when i did it i drove it and it was a little louder i will get a pic when i can find my camera. but if you look under your truck its the tailpipe that wraps up i believe over the rear axle and has a hanger and a clamp and all i did was take that clamp off and unhang the exhaust.

Hrmm, it shouldn't be "just a little louder" it should sound like a damn lion, compared to the overweight puty cat it sounded like stock.
