If I had to guess what he used to paint with I would say Krylon Fusion or Krylon Heany Duty Metal with rust protection... I though the said he did like 7 or 8 coats of color and like 10 coats of clear... that should be pretty glossy I would think.
let me crush some rumors. i only did 3-4 coats paint and 2-3 coats clear coat. i did use black krylon. i did not paint my radiator frenchy! punk. i got everything from autozone. no im not painting the chrome. but the grey plastic i want to paint black next.
Yeah but how would it match to the Brilliant Black on my truck is what worries me... from the look of Trucky's it will be to flat... look at my gallery to see what I mean...
mine was glossy actually. and i looked great. i havnt told this story yet...but some paint ran and my friend tried to dab it with a paper towel, then paper towel fibers were everywhere so we tried painting over it. then it looked like crap so we let it sit and the next day primed and sanded it and started over. long story short its kinda uneven and the gloss went away. but originally if u use krylon and let it sit the right amount of time (read directions people) then clearcoat it u will have more shine than my pics.
Oh I know its shiney...but I just don't think it'll match the Brilliant Black Dodge Paint on the rest of the truck...IDK though... maybe I will use the Krylon... I'm kinda chicken to paint mine... IDK what I'm doin when it comes to takin things off... Thank god that K&N CAI came with instructions lol!

well, if you want an exact match, its going to take an air sompressor, HVLP gun and a booth of some sort. oh yeah and get paint matching the paint code on your truck. From my experience the touch up paint is just close and not enough to do a medium sized piece. so you might just have to bite the bullet and have a shop do it... :-\
