Default Performance Intake

OK has anyone run this intake set up?
I know it is a cheap e-bay intake but i like the look of it. Or should i just bite the bullit and get a K&N FIPK. I know it has the heat sheild so it is going help but $250 vs. $50 is a big diff.

it will flow better than stock but heat rises and those filters are right above both manifolds

if i go with the twin set up i was also going to get the heat shields that attach to the filters to help that. most of it is the look. i just like the twin snorkle look and it is $50 kinda hard to beat that.

well, mostly what I was talking about is the hot air of the engine bay, the gains form airflow will probably be working against the loss because of the hotter air

I'm afraid you'llbe forcedto employ the use of a "ram air" hood. Poor you. you know you want one!

I'd turn it up-side-down. Have it pokin' out of the hood on either side.

Then tie a set of steer horns on the front of the hood with rope
