Wiring Camper Shell on 06 SLT
I've been working on setting up my SLT for towing as it didn't come with the tow package originally and really appreciate all the info on this site. It has made it a bunch easier making sure I got the right stuff and run into minimum problems getting them installed.
I ran into something kind of strange this last weekend. A friend was following me and when we reached our destination, he asked why the 3rd brake light on my camper shell came on with the brakes and flashed when I turned on my left hand turn signal, but not the right. This was the first I had heard of this, so I checked it out and sure enough, the folks I bought the shell from hooked it to the left wiring harness. I pulled out my trusty multimeeter and found voltage to the bulb during both braking and flashing, but with the flashing, the voltage pulses. I assume this means the computer does the pulsing.
My question is, how do I wire this crazy thing up so it doesn't flash when the turn signals come on?
Thanks for any help you all can offer.

RE: Wiring Camper Shell on 06 SLT
Thanks Eric! I think I'll locate the 3rd brakelight circuit and tap into that. I had a friend download the manual (I'm on dialup) and send it to me, so finding the circuit wasn't difficult. Figuring out where to tap in will be interesting tho...
