from what Frenchy said it's a power upgrade, frees up some horses by not relying on the engine to turn the fan...wha ti got out of frenchy's description

Yes.. there is a clutch fan, that is ALWAYS running when the engine is spinning, and this causes extra power loss, as the engine is working harder to turn something... with this fan, the engine no longer turns the clutch fan, and frees up somewhere around 5-15 hp....

And helps with mpgs!

Glad to see you got it running frenchy. I know when I put my fan in I really noticed a power gain especially when stomping on it when the traffic light turns green.

Dude, just pick up two of them from a salvage yard, 93 Continental 3.8L....

Shouldn't cost much at all!!!
