new look for the truck

I went to home depot and bought a 'pallet' of wooden fence slats because I had to put the fence back up after the hurrican tore it down.
I have no idea how much that weighs, but it got it all the way home!!

thats crazy, this past winter (when the first of many ice storms hit) i didnt have my tonneau and for traction i filled the whole bed to the rails with snow and ice, it wasnt bad the first day but the 2nd we got more ice and it was prob abot 6" over the rails....i got too much traction, when drivin and changin lanes, it was difficult to get out of the ruts in the lanes....2nd storm i had my tonneau and just put about 400 lbs of sand bags in the back and it handled like a dream...this time, i went home on the weekend...usually takes me 1hr 15mins to go the 100 miles...that time it took me in the dak (and my buddy who was in his z71 pictured below) over 6 hours to drive the same 100 miles....
here is his truck...he just had his bday, i got him the chrome chevy emblem for the grill, looks a lot smother than the stock gold one pictured...you cant tell really from this pic, but his paint has a lot of metallic flake in it....depending on lighting, changes from blue to real nice shade of purple

in this pic you can tell the color change more, but is more vibrant in life

/threadjack...im done, sorry
