I just hauled 8 sheets of Dens Armor PlusWall Board for our new bathroom with my Dak and it was fine. I leaned it up against the side angled and it was an easy trip home.

I hauled 14 sheets of dens amor plus in the bed of my 06 club cab dak, and I just put one end of the drywall on the floor of the bed then just let it lean over, no straps or anything, it wont go anywhere or damage it, its drywall, theres no rocket science involved like in night runner's pictures.

it wasnt rocket science....the wood board was for support and the straps were just incase...idk what speeds he will be traveling at and what kind of road conditions....a cave man could figure that out

I know it wasnt rocket science, didnt you see my little winky dude? Lol, the wood and straps are a good idea but arent really worth all the trouble unless you are going to be hauling it daily.
