went off roading this weekend in the desert...was a pretty crappy trip in the first place. Got my truck stuck and the only towing company in town with a winch on their truck wouldnt come out because their winch was on a 4x2. So 7 hours later the son of a guy who owns an Ace hardware store came out with a big 3500 and pulled me right out. On the way home my friend who was driving a Durango with a trailer got hit by a drunk driver and jackknifed the trailer with the quad and dirt bike into the side...thankfully not too bad of damage and no one hurt. the weather was SO HOT, 118 degrees the first day, and somehow i got heat exhaustion and made me really sick until saturday morning...but here are some pics of me doing doughnuts and us having fun during one of the good parts of the trip haha!

hahahahaha! because we're luxurious off roaders, gotta have comfort ya know! We did have some fun in spite of what happened. Things I'm doing because of this trip: investing in a CB radio, car charger for cell phone, and possibly over time, a 6000lb winch, and ugh i forget what they're called, but they're those bars that you can lift your vehicle up out of a ditch if you need to...i'll find it somewhere...haha

the only thing you need to invest in is a tow strap. i am pretty sure the quads would have been able to pull you out. also most people walk around the site they are wheeling in so they dont get caught in any avoidable territory. and yes, the couch was a nice touch
