Yeah I know what cha mean Altair... It does look really nice although I like the logo on top of the grille/hood... I actually kinda like where the stock one is on the 3rd Gen Daks

I've thought about taking the grill and painting the outside the same color as my truck like the sports and leaving my mesh the way it is and put the chrome covers on the door/tailgate handles.

I paid $200 at local body shop to have my grille painted. Came out great.

not found of it. from a distance it looks like nothing is there. just open space.

The grill. From a distance, when you look at it, it looks like it's just open space. It looks a lot better up close.

I've been wanting to do almost the same thing, need to get rid of the chrome strip on my bumper though, then get a nice billet grill like the one Night Runner posted before (the stillen one) and get the grill crosshairs and the billet grill redone in black chrome... Anyone know someplace that does vacuum metallizing in New England? (It's the process used to put "chrome" coatings on parts that aren't metal, like our grills)

i have a friend that works at a shop like that. idk if thats the name of the process, but they say they can chrome anything, and i have had them do some parts for me in the past. most of their work is brought in from around the country....i can get a quote for you if you like.
