Could probably get away with some high flow cats, just don't buy the really cheap ones.

 

I didn't even think about after market cats. Thanks. I will look into two stainless cats to go with the true dual set up. I'm going to budget say, about 600.00 for the exhaust. That figure is based on nothing. I just pulled out the b_ _ _number. I need to get real pricing. I will talk to the dealer on the CAN-B situation on what would happen with no cats. There is a mechanic there that knows the CAN system well that I can talk to.

 

Let us know what he says about it, I may change up my system after the warranty runs out on mine.

 

Gray, Yes the gibson is stainless(it is available also in just aluminized). If you go true duals don't go to large on the pipe diameter or you will loose low end torque.

If anyone wants to just adapt the Gibson Superflow muffler onto thier system and have a tailpipe made, the Muffler is part# 421887. It has 3" offset inlet, 3" center outlet and is8"x 24", 30" overal length. Cost for just the SS muffler is around $195
