well like i said, i love to drive, and it would be more fun with the guys....with the gf however, the cruise would be a lot easier on the both of us, plus my grandma is a travel agent

 

Head down to Texas, there are some that leave from Galveston and cut across the Gulf to the Carribean (sp?) or you an go the other way down the coast of Mexico and it make all the "honey moon" stops.

 

just remember it is hurricane season out there so where ever you go make sure to avoid one.

 

well, ive been to hawaii once, and she hasnt been, we were tossing that idea up as well. i already have the $ for it (well for a cruise, need a lot more if we went to hawaii for a week)...anyone been anywhere that they would definitely like to go again and would recommend?

 

well we have done cruises through the carribean, which was nice, and we did a short one to canada which was also good, weather was cooler, you ended up wearing pants for most of the week(in july), but its up to you and the gf, whatever you want to do

 

Well I went to Hawaii once... I was in 1st grade LOL... what I remem was fun... I would definitely like to go back with my gf... mainly because I don't remem much at all... :-/

 

I lived in Kailua for three and half years. Absolutely loved every minute of it. I would definately go back there since the wife and kids have never been there. I think your gf would love itand depending on what island you are on, you already know where to take her and show her around. If you can book a hotel on the windward side of Oahu (thats where I lived) you can find some pretty cheap deals away from the Waikiki tourists trap. Rent you and island beater or better yet get a bus pass (bus travel there is very nice) and go all over. Anyway you choose, hope you have a great time!
