thanks, I put a lot of thought into how to make it keep from soaking up heat... Hopefully ceramic coating it will do the trick.

Skikir... This intake has been in development for around 3 months... It is as close to a cold air intake as I can make it. The filter is too larg to fit in the fenderwell... so I opened up the area around the filter so that cooler air from the fender well can get into it. I ceramic coated the aluminum to keep heat out and also painted it with high temp paint to help reduce some temps... So yeah. its for go, not show.

 

Stone... do you want measurments to center of bend or just overall? I am going out to measure right now, so I will just post both I guess...

but I'd check out verocious motorsports. (a sponsor) they have mandrel bent aluminum on their site... wish I would have found them 3 weeks ago. lol

my dimensions are:
Total overall length (not including filter) is 27 inches. the bends are 2 90* bends with center of bend at 3 inches from begining. the length of pipe between bends is 18 inches...

I can post up some links to voracious products if you want a better idea of total cost
