the fiberglass is nice looking, but not really practical if you haul anything in your bed that goes higher than the bed...well...that's why i like those soft covers! I like it!

Don't get me wrong. I like the way they look, at times I've had to load stuff in the back of my bed, and it was a pain with the tonneau cover I have (and it folds up three times with about 18 inches that still covers the very front of the bed).

about hard tonneaus, i love mine, especially with the bedrug...honestly, i like it more than my soft tonneau. it looks 1000x better, noone can slice and dice it and get in my bed, i KNOW my things are safe, and i can lock them up and keep them out of the weather. if for some reason i have to haul something and i need the tonneau partially open, i attach a ratchet tie down to one of my bed hooks and the other end to the pull strap on the tonneau and close it as much as i can....thats only happened twice though...if i really need to haul something big, i use my dads truck, hes got a f250 with a shell on it...

Same with mine. I have the hard tri-fold. I'm starting to regret the fact that I bought it though. The rubber seals that protect the folds from getting water in them is starting to dry rot and crack and the paint on top around the key holes are scratched because of my keys trying to unlock the damn thing to open it up. Honestly, they made the key too short to unlock it with.

But I'm sure you have to pray the F250 doesn't fall apart while hauling

I bought this one from Dodge. I don't think leer offered the keyless entry when I bought mine. This one seemed practical at the time.

Shrpshtr325 I got the perfect cover for you. I use my bed a lot too so I got a bakflip cover. Its an aluminum covered folding cover that ffolds up against the back window so you have full acess to the bed. Add a lock to the tailgate and presto you have a waterproof lockable bed. M y first cover was a cheapy rollup one and it broke. So I got the bakflip cover and love it. It is expensive though but well worth it.

my personal experience with an F250 wasn't too good...plus the Ford dealer people treated me like fecal matter. They wouldn't show me the F250 King Ranch, just some dumpy 2-dr diesel. we had to wait like 25 seconds for the glow plugs to warm up...not impressive to me...lol
