Satellite radio/head unit question
Hello all,
Sorry if this has been asked, but I did a search for Sirius, etc. and couldn't find adefinitive answer. I bought a new Dakota SLT tonight (2007) - it has the single disc with Sirius setup and aux in. I would rather have the 6 disc setup, but couldn't find whether the Sirius is built into the head unit, or whether it's a separate tuner. Obviously, if the tuner is separate I can just swap in the 6 disc unit correct? I would like to take advantage of the free year of Sirius, obviouslyhoping it isn't tied to the radio itself.
Thanks in advance if anyone can answer for sure for me.

Tempting but I can't throw that kind of money at a head unit right now. And like Frenchy said, fitting it is not a problem, never done fiberglassing before but I'm pretty stubborn when I want to do something. I'll probably end up dropping $200 or so for an alpine 9885, pick up the ipod adapter, and call it good. That myGig would be freakin sweet though...
